2004 Jeep Liberty Sub Installation

My buddy has a 2004 jeep liberty, I was wondering if you can connect a subwoofer to the stock headunit in the car. I dont want to take apart his dash and pull out the headunit, look at the back of it only to find out it doesn't have a subwoofer out. Let me know if anyone can answer this for me

Yep, if you get an amp with high-level inputs, sure.

haha at thinking ANY factory deck has any kinda pre out's haha

you are going to need a line out convertor..

hook up the line out to ur rear speakers behind the headunit, find and hook up a fused switch ( ignition ) wire for ur remote turn on wire, the run rem, rca's and power of to the amp
