Can anyone please help me??!?

I am trying to install a 1000 watt amp and two 12' subs in my 2004 ford explorer. Everywhere i look online for ford wiring maps tell me to connect my amp on/off wire to the back of my factory radio's yellow/black wire. Unfortunately when i checked there is no yellow/black wire. I tried looking on wikkianswers and i was told the blue/white wire. Upon further inspection the blue/white wire is a speaker wire and therefore cannot be the correct wire to turn off my amp when my radio is not on.

Could somebody that has any knowledge with Ford Explorer sound installation please help me. I would GREATLY appreciate any feedback.

I will be checking this periodically to answer any questions you might have regarding this.

Thank you in advance

hook up youre line out converter to the rear speakers, pick up amp turn on wire to the acc wire behind the factory hedunit. you can find this with a DMM or a test light, should read 12v+ when key is turned on. then ov when key is off.
