2003 Silverado Ext Sub

I had 2 10s down firing, now the rear seats out and 2 15s are going in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I had a JL Stealth 10w1 in my Grand Cherokee and loved it. It was solid and every note was equal in volume. I now have a Silverado with a 10w1v2 under the back seat and it is very boomy and certain notes ring out louder then others. I'm not looking for loudness just good SQ. Is it the acoustics of the truck? I padded the inside walls of the box with insulation and tonight I took it out and will try it tomorrow without it. This is the box I am using is it OK for the speaker that I have? Maybe I need to buy a real JL Stealth

Well I just put it back in without the insulation and surprise everything is tight and each note is separate from the other. No more boomyness just tight kick and bass notes.

I like it so much I'm thinking of getting the two 10" box. Will my Eclipse 3122 run 2 10's?
