2002 Ford Explorer Build Log

I didn't realize there were so many Explorer owners on here all of a sudden.

I can't decide on which box type I want to run. What have you'll found to work best in the 3rd Generation Explorers?

Subs up and port back or both back?

I've got box plans for both ways. In my older Explorer, I ran both ways but this Explorer seems a little larger.

i havent put my big box(sub up port back) yet but with my single 12 hdc its .5 louder on the mic with sub to pass side and port back, rather than sub up port back

Id try sub up port back first....i think both sub and port back would prolly sound better but not be as loud

When i try for all out SPL, im gonna try 2 subs to side and 2 subs up and port back.....i think that may work best from what i seen for me

wow, there is a lot of ex owners on here. lol.

Ya man, throw up some more pics. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

As far as box, my plans have been pretty much revolving around bamaboys old box for his BTLs, subs up, slot port back. I think it looks nice and im sure it will slam regardless, lol.

I only took a few pictures of the doors because of the crowdedness. I'll post them up when I get out of class.

I saved about a half of roll of RAAMmat, so I may go back and add more if needed.
