2001 Grand Am GT.

Hey dudes, I just grabbed a 2001 Grand Am GT and I'm looking to do a bit of a sound upgrade.

It has the Monsoon speaker system that apparently bi-amps the speakers. Anyone know anything about this?

Im basically looking to add a sub for around 400 bucks or so, so I was thinking about just taking out the back two speakers and using one of the connections for the amp signal. What does it take to do that?

And for the subs, what do you recommend? Ive been out of the car audio scene for quite sometime now so I dont know what everone has a boner over these days. I was thinking Type Rs or CVRs. And I have no idea what i need for an amp. And would probably prefer to just buy a box....
