I have done alot of research and have found a few amps capable for what I am looking for. I am not looking to buy I am just researching. List as many amps you know of that produce 2000+watts @.5ohms and can do this on a regular basis. If you have one for sell list it.

IIRC the 2500d was not stable @ .5 ohms. If it were I'm sure daily would be another thing.

Maybe in your application but I've seen several run fine daily .5ohm .

For the VFL 150.1 I would not run it at .5 daily.

I'm taking a stab at this here: guessing that you either have a dual 1ohm single subwoofer or a pair of dvc 2ohm subs or a quad 2ohm single sub. In any case, you can wire them differently to be used with 2kwrms+ Digital Designs Z1. At 2ohms and 12V you will still have well in excess of 2kw on tap. We have done SM 3-4 amp swap comparisons and at 12V at 4ohms linked, a pair of them does more than the JBL A6000GTis did. At higher voltage (up to 15.8V) they get retarded and most competitors burp them at recockulously low linked impedances of like .125 and .25. It won't like under a reactive 1ohm load for daily without pitching a little bit of a fit. Oh, and the 2kwrms+ @ 2ohms, 12V is with THD

Yeah I know. I have a viper d2500.1 to do 2 ohms. I just want a .5 ohms stable amp.

It seemed to me in your statement that you were really ultimately after 2kw and I don't see the 2500.1 doing 2kw @ 2ohms. May I ask why you want to load an amp to .5 with the detriment to the THD and damping versus one that'll easily make the power you wanted @ 2ohms? Not being a smart *ss, just wondering.

Why its rated to do 2500 watts @ 2 ohms. Im sure it can pull 2k. So I can wire 4 dvc 4 ohm subs to .5 ohm.

I have lanzar opti2000 still with warrenty 260 shipped only amp I can think off the top of my head thats 2000rms and is .5ohm stable
