did you decide how you where going to paint the box yet?

and i should of watched as you drilled the holes for the sub connections. but if you havent any problems with the low power setup, then nothing to worry about.

I'm probably just going to leave it for now. Schools starting and I don't feel like messing with it. But yea I totally forgot about the washers when I drilled the holes, I was just thinking about the bolts. Luckily theres a slight gap and its tightened down real secure so I'm not worried about it.

I'd at least pull the washers off and grind em down a little.... hate to see anything get burnt up over such a simple fix...

Eh, thats too much work for him. Its nice when you try to help people to prevent future problems, and they just blow you off. A week from now we'll see a thread by him "My shit fvcked up, wtf happened?"

as long as they are tight you shouldnt have a problem. I have done this on a few boxes and none have loosened.

There's no way that with a bunch of power flowing through conductors soooo close together that it could arc??? Not an electrical engineer.... really don't know how it works...

those washers are going to screw ya hardcore!! Remove them and go get some nylon ones ASAP. Its the first thing I noticed when looking at the pix. As far as the random blue parts go... its your car, do your thing. I DO suggest using SEM interior paint for the process though. You can get it at almost any auto paint supply store. My entire interior is re-done in my s10 with SEM paints and I dont have ANY issues.

Why do people paint miscellaneous interior pieces? Looks terrible IMO.
