2000 Chevrolet Silverado Ext. Cab Build - Need Help

I have a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab which I would like to put a new system in. I had a thread earlier which I learned much off of. I am in the process of making plans right now and I would like some opinions of what you would do.

I am going to do a big 3 upgrade. This is the one I plan to install.

I am also considering two different models from the SSA website. They have really caught my attention. Those are the DCON 12 and IA 12 I Series.

Should I attempt to build the box myself with birch or MDF, or should I have someone build it for me? I am going for cheap prices, so I would like to build it myself, but I need help with the dimensions because the area I am working with is tough. I am looking into seat spacers to gain the extra couple of inches I am going to need.

I am also going to upgrade my front and rear speakers. Those are 6.5" in the front and 4x6 in the rear. I would also like to upgrade my tweeters. Any good suggestions for upgrades for those for a good price?

I want a loud system more than anything. I appreciate any advice and opinion. Thanks!
