$2000-$3000 Id like to spend. Need help deciding

I had the 2 12's L7 in my accord. So maybe 2 15's in my escalade or 3 or 4 12's? I'm not really sure. I definitely dont want to waste money.
You guys respond so fast on here.
I would keep the install simple with 2 15s vs 4 12s. Plus you won't gain that much. Save a lot on a box also.

Ive haven't had a system in about 5 years. I don't know a whole lot about systems but I know enough I guess. Back then I was just wanting the hardest hittin subs. I had 2 kicker L7's in ported box with a planet audio amp. The quality of music wasnt good but it was super loud. You could hear me miles away. Well thats what I was told. It was in an accord.
I now have an escalade ext. I still want deep base with a good hit but I'm wanting something with a bit more quality too. It doesnt have to be JL audio quality but if you knew how the 2 L7's sounded with that planet audio .. you would know all there was to it was bass. I had a couple tweeters but my bass overshadowed it. I jus want some decent quality. I need a radio in my ext too. I want to spend about 2-3 grand on everything I'd need .. from wires, to box, etc. and any upgrades I would need. I have to pay for installation to but its no problem to fork out a couple hundred more for that.

Researching would take me many days and possibly weeks if I didnt post this haha. I want to go off something to research on so please give me some suggestions.

$2-3k will go pretty quick when looking at the system as a whole.

I would look at a few options for a decent electrical first.

Start with a an upgraded alt(Ohio, mechman, DC, Singer....many others), at the same time upgrade your big three and get what ever wiring done you need. Upgrade your front battery and start to think about what kind of power you may be wanting to run as well. Then pick up an extra battery or two and you will be set for just about anything electrical wise.

After all of that I would look at a few options for stereos. My personal choices and what we sell the most of is Pioneer and Alpine. Mids/highs will boil down to what amps you get and what your goals are. I would look at some good components at least though. There are endless brands that will work great for the application.

I would look at a subs and such last. If you do well enough on the first half the system you can start with a modest sub stage or go crazy and you should have the electrical and mids/highs to stick with the bass.

As for prices, they are all over the place. We sell many brands our self and can ship items as well, but it comes down to what will work best for you and what product/goals you have.

So before we start running through options lets take a minute to figure a few things out.

1. Are you wanting to go single or double din for the stereo? DVD and/or Navi?

2. What are the overall goals of the system? This will help us figure out electrical and a game plan for amplifier power.

You have a large amount of space to work with, so I don't think that is going to be an issue. Just making sure your money is spent in the correct areas will go a long way with this application.

I know I left off deadening the truck in my little list up there, and that comes into play as well, but that can be based a bit on goals and worked into the budget as you move along.

i spent 1100 on

used my iPad i already had as my HU

Front Stage: 2 Crescendo CCX 6.5s, RF T1 tweets x2

Sub Stage: 2 DC Level 4 15s

Amps: Custom AQ2200D, JL Audio Jx 360.4

wanged pretty **** hard with the box I had em in!

good thing for you is if my memory serves me right you have the Escalade version of the avalanche, REALLY easy to do a blowthrough in. just take out the midgate and secure the box to the truck, and bedliner it to protect the wood

I don't need dvd or navi with head unit. So I guess I'd want a single din.

What is every1 talking about with my goals haha? Watts and power Im wanting? If that is the question .. I don't know haha. The amp in my accord was a 2250 monoblock 1 ohm amp. That and the 2 12" L7s in my accord. So power around that range is what I think I want in my escalade? Maybe more? I shouldn't get electrical until I figure out what spearks and amp I want first right? Just the best bang for my buck for everything for around $3000 with a little quality.

The type of music I listen to is rap and hip hop.

No just at 2 grand
