200 dollars. 12 inch. 1,100 RMS. Can it be done?

The TC Sounds TC9+ 15" prototype (that I happen to be selling for $200 + shipping //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif) will take 1.1kW sealed or ported, in a comparable enclosure to an 12" SX...

'Tis a better SQ driver, as well.

How would that Pioneer Premier sound? I've NEVER heard one but some folks say it's pretty nice.

How would it compare against the 12 inch SX?

Say... Premier sealed to rec spec, 12 inch, 1,100 RMS

VERSUS

SX sealed to rec spec, 12 inch, 1,100 RMS...

Eh?

I have the Pioneer Premier TS-W2504SPL which is the 10" version and it will hit. I put 1000 to mine no problem. The sub is definitely an spl woofer, but if you are a good tuner, you won't have any problem making it sound great.

That's cool. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't any kind of things to watch out for on it. Because I look at some other subs like Audiobahn and immediately think, hmmm, not happening... But with this sub, I had no idea what to think...

Is it possible to get it in DVC 2 ohm? It says 2 or 8 ohm operational, meaning DVC 4 ohm... but I need DVC 2 ohm..............

Yes, there is a dual 2 and a dual 4 ohm model. The dual 4's are TS-W2504SPL (10") and the TS-W3004SPL (12"). The dual 2's are TS-W2502SPL (10") and the TS-W3002SPL (12"). Pioneer is IMO the best all around sub for the price. You can get one for just about any install. Since pioneer is the #1 brand of speakers, you can feel comfortable that they know what they are doing.

Odd, ikesound.com said the 12 inch DVC4 ohm one was 1,000 RMS.

Ikesound.com also said the 12 inch DVC2 ohm one was 750 RMS.

At onlinecarstereo.com, the 12 inch DVC2 ohm one is 750 RMS.

Now, is ikesound wrong and all of them are 750 RMS? Or what......

Why look off of those sites when Pioneers site is very clean and easy to navigate. Pioneer's site is correct whatever it says. I think the 10 and 12 are both 800 rms 2500 max.
Regardless, my amp is 1,100 watt at 1 ohm, so I'd have some headroom there.

This is a killer price for this woofer. However, I wonder how it compares? Meaning, I have a 15 inch SE sealed on 600 RMS right now. I wonder how it would compare to the Premier 12 (probably sealed, not sure yet) on more like 800 RMS (with whatever headroom I have).

Eh?

Mine's coming in tomorrow, and if I'm not mistaken, you have the very same 15" SE I had. (Got it from bdub, right?)

So, I'll letcha know. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I ordered mine directly from RE.

You're ordering Premiers?
