So far the closest I've gotten is the SX 12, which is 249 bucks.
I'm up for going with a single sub, or two, as long as they can handle 1 ohm/1,100 RMS. I prefer sealed, but MAY port down the line. I'd like 12 inch subs, because my SE 15 barely fits where it's at now... it's hard to make a nice box due to the wierd rear deck and how low it is.
How would the SX12 with 1,100 RMS sound versus the SE15 with 600 RMS? I want to make sure that downgrading sub size, but upgrading the sub itself, won't lose overall output from what I currently have. I also want it to justify the price. Meaning, I don't want to spend 250 bucks on a sub that gets me .002% louder.
Looking for a set of 12s too if a single 12 doesn't work out. Any possibilities? Open to anything.
How about this, with what you just read, what would you buy with a price cap of:
200 dollars?
250 dollars?
300 dollars?
