If you bought a GMOS04 then there is a box included with the 3 piece harness

It goes into the car harness (factory side) and onstar then into the box then you wire up the harness to it that came with your HU

Its a little black plastic box that says "Access GMOS04" on it by means of a blue sticker

If thats not what you have, than you dont have a GMOS04

you have the rca's connected?

and to the proper plugs?

That hu requires that you turn on the rca

By the way, I do have the extra AMP. Is there a way to test anything using that and my subs?

Yes. Thats the right harness pending you definitely have an amplified factory sound system.
