2 zed audio gladius amps or 1 draconia

I am looking for an amp(s) to power up my 5.25 rainbow SLC 230's and my single dayton HF 10" sub. Should I go with 1 Zed audio Galudius (75X2) w/ Burr brown upgrade to power the rainbows and another Gladius (300X1)w/o the Burr brown to power the sub?

OR

Should I just get 1 Zed audio draconia 70X4 (70X2 + 280X1) w/o burr brown to power the components and sub?

Sub handles 350WRMS. Looking for pure SQ!!! NOT VOLUME...

I'd go with the Draconia...itd be easier to setup mount/hide and is probably cheaper?

Is there a reason you wouldn't want the Burr/Brown for the sub?

Fairly new to Zed amps, so I'm just curious why you wouldn't want it for both?

Not positive but I don't think Steve offers that burr upgrade on the mono amps..........don't quote me....

The Gladius is not a mono amp.

either amp will probly shit all over 90% of all the other amps out there for this application...cant go wrong either way...go cheaper if u can

From ZedAudio.com (where you should look for info about Zed Audio amps):

At present we offer the choice of two IC chipsets for the preamplifiers. The standard uses a low noise bipolar input style op-amp and the option is a BIFET Burr Brown chipset.

Burr Brown's are the upgraded chipset. I have the BB upgrade in my Zed Audio Deuce and I love it.

i am running 1 gladius w/ burr brown and 2 miniliths strapped... could not be happier! Burr Brown is not avail on the mono amp (minilith) only on the Galdius, Draconia and Duce. These amps or any combination of them WILL blow away ANY of the competition hands down! They are also ALL extremly UNDER rated as far as power goes! Plus the biggest benefit of these amps is you get the knowledge of Steve at just a phone call away! You win with any combination you choose.

as soon as everything is done, i'll post pics, having a new box done for the subs now, went to paint today so should be ready for install by mid week. then i'll post pics here and on the zed forum.

WOW...It ahs been a while since first posting. I should let you all know that I have been running the DRACONIA (w/o BB upgrade) now for several months with the Rainbows and a single 10" JL audio Sub, and it is out of hand. I love this amp and wouldn't trade it for anything.
