It will "get you" a small window of opportunity to:

1) throw some shoes on

2) put one in the chamber

3) see who the fuck is tryin to jack your shit

price for a decent one? roughly $200 give or take

I've used Compustar and haven't had any problems. Range is amazing.

I'd like to check the wiring diagrams to see how true this is. Maybe they just want me to spend $ at one of their authorized installers to have my shit redone though.

Does any of them do kind of like a chirp noise a time or two if someone gets to close to it and after that go off? And with a remote start?

Just start shopping man.

Almost all of the 2-ways I know of are offered in both alarm and alarm+remote start forms (and some just remote start).

They'll just have slightly different model #s. For instance, Compustar 2wss-a instead of 2wss-as.

Like I said, just start shopping for em. They'll clearly say whether it has remote start or just alarm or not.

its website* and, Compustar is nice i loved mine, but at the same time i hated it. The senors were ok, but with compustar there is no room for addons, like glassbreak or tilt, or automated window sensors.
