yeah i was lookin at it again, may have to bump the horns down a touch, i already know ill have to EQ the hell out of it, but i figured it was a cheap alternative to "trying out horns" without buying 450$ imagine dynamics horns.

as far as knowing the drivers are 8ohm, yes i know. I was plannin on taking a 4 channel and bridging it to 2x200@4ohm to hopefully get 100-120w@8ohm for the mids, probably take a 2x75@4ohm for the horns should hopfully give me 35-50w@8ohm

and 1 of each, 2 horns 2 mids, simplicity.

Im gonna be doing a 2 way with 2- audiopipe 3" bullet tweets (samething as the 3" pyle pro at parts exp.)

and a pair of audiopipe apmb-6nd thin mids.

Using my xenon100.4 for the tweets and my x200.4 for the mids.

I just dont know if I should mount the tweets in the door next to the mids

or in the kick (the tweets are huge going to have to build panels) and should it be off or on axis.

then I would skip those mids and get some mach5audio mli65, they will have more midbass and sound a whole lot better, they are like 40 each, i would also skip the horns and just get some quality tweets, you can find some that will take power

with all due respect if i wanted to do the same generic mach 5 mli65, or ID oems, dayton rs180's etc etc matched up with either LPG or seas neo tweets... i wouldn't bother asking. The point was to try something DIFFERENT, specifically with high efficient pro-audio components

Dispersion pattern is all wrong, and that Selenium driver is extremely underdamped.

i never said the speakers i picked out were ANY good, i just wanted to experiment with horns without spending 400$ on a set. Tell me the setup sucks, thats fine, all i'm saying is don't try to direct me to the same thing everyone else does as if horns and hi efficiency drivers don't work... the GARBAGE ones i picked out may not work lol but there are people who are very successful with them.

one of the main reasons i want to use high efficiency drivers is because i don't wanna hack up the doors to run multiple mids and im getting ready to bump up my substage considerably and i want my frontstage to be able to keep up

meh. If all you want is loud noise that doesn't have to really resemble music, these will be right up your alley!

Guys in Florida love these kinds of setups. Not bad for rap, where all you really have is some test tones and a narrow vocal range to deal with.

your kinda right, mostly its your retarded guys running 8-10's sealed in 3 cubes in the back of a crown vic with one set of stock speakers and 4 tweets superglued to the pillar tho that get the bad "florida guy" rep.

and when which set of horns are you saying would ****, the selenium or the seas?
