Hey all,
I'm a newb, so please be gentle - I have used 'search'!
As the title suggests I am having a few problems with the output from my subs.
Few details...
I have 2 Pioneer TS-SW841ds mounted in a custom sealed mdf parcel shelf enclosure. They are powered by the rear channels of my Alpine PDX-4.150, one channel each side. The subs are rated 120rms and the amp 150rms per channel. The enclosure volume is 'recommended' by Pioneer. HU is a Alpine IDA-X001. Sub set as LPF and crossover at 70-90.
The output seems to be extremely low and you can only really 'feel' them when the volume, HU bass setting & gain are turned right up.
Now I know they're only 120rms 8" shallow subs so are never going to bounce me down the road, but there's 2 of them and they're firing into the cabin so I expected a lot more.
Is this the output I should expect or could I have it all setup incorrectly?
Thanks in advance for any help!
