2 sets of comps up front a bad idea?

they are very loud... ive never tried them on axis, after seeing most sq installs with the tweets in the kicks i thought they would be ok that far away. ive actually never ran tweets that low or kicks at all. always been mids in door and tweets on pillars.

this may be a little off topic.... my wife finally wants her car wired too. she loves the clarity of the bostons and their ability to get loud but sometimes the tweeters seem to be a little bit much. any ideas of components that will still be clean & have the ability to get loud, with the right power, but may have a softer tweeter?
