2 SDC2.5 or 1 Fi Q?

Looking to upgrade soon and wanting suggestions...

Should I go for 2 10-12" SDC2.5's or one 15" Q?

I like the idea of a great sounding sub (The Q), but I think the SDC's will get louder and still sound fine.

I used to party in Mexia.....btw get the Q....the AQ's will be louder though..more cone area/power handling on the 2 subs

For the record, they will both be run off the same amount of power... around 1400-1500 rms~

Leaning towards the Q.

If you are smart you can feed that Q that much, but from what I have read its really not that beneficial to push them past rated RMS. Ive seen someone on here (tommy K) push one Q12 on almost, or double their rated power, and it put up an impressive number, but it probably didn't like it much.

Decide what you'd rather have- sq or spl. Two sd2.5's will be louder for sure.

But with that power, why not a BL instead of a Q?

SDC. It will be louder. AQ's have enough SQ for me, but that's me.

SDC. cone area wins out, and they don't sound bad. The Q has better sq IMO, but feeding it that much power isn't gonna give you much more than what you would get running it at RMS.

The only reason I say it will be at that power is because I already have an AP15001D that will be pushing whatever I buy.

Now that I look at it, I can get 2 15" SDC's for about the same price as one 15" Q, so I think I will probably head that direction... SQ isn't a huge factor for me so I don't think I'll be able to notice the different too much.
