They are 1600 watts RMS. Never rely on the max rating in car audio. It means squat. A useless number to you.

And the XXX subs don't require 1600 watts. They sound amazing anywhere from 1000-2000 watts. So with one Orion amp they will each get around 1250 watts. Unless you run it @ .5 ohms.

And I would say the XXX is near equal to the W7. Some will say it is better some say it is not as good. I consider it very close. But I prefer the sound of my XXX over a W7.

Maybe instead of two 2500's find two amps that produce 1500 watts. It will give you less stress on the electrical system.

That would be a good choice. 1500 each sub. Plenty of power to get them to full potential.

Remeber the electrical system. I can't stress that enough...

Ok everything you are adding in to the vehicle is going to draw current from your battery and Alt. This is measured in AMPs. Your alt is only 110 amps. If your amps draw more amps than the Alt can produce, it will drain your battery and the Alt will break from the stress of trying to keep up.

So a High Output Alternator is needed to supply the proper power for the current draw.

That's the simple explination. I am but a simple man...

I don't know the actuall current draw of the 92001 but you are going to need at least a 200amp alt.

1/0 guage wire for power and ground. 8 guage speaker wire. Probably at least 2 distrobution blocks. RCA cables. The redtop will be good under the hood. If you wish a second battery(deep cycle) can be used in the rear of the vehicle. If you buy a HO alt you probably wont need a cap. But if you wish to add one get a least a 5farad.

If you are having a shop do this, they will know what is required. Just make sure they do it right.

Personally, I'd rather purchase the parts my self and just pay for labor. So what brands are good for that stuff and where can I get it?
