2 RE xxx 12's vs 2 RE xxx 15's vs 2 JL W7's

I'm a newbie to the site so what up. To start, this is going in a FX45 05' SUV. I heard alot of good things about JL Audio W7 12's and 15's. But when I came to this site alot of people where talking about RE. I never heard of them till now, I wanted to know, which would be better, 2 RE xxx 12's/2 RE xxx 15's or 2 JL 12inch w7's/15' w7's?

naturally two xxx 12's will get louder than 1 15... Its almost double the cone area.

did it, didnt really find to many review on the xxx's. Some said it was better then the w7, some said it wasnt. Basically, I will be using this every day, mostly rap, and I just want the best for my money.

I dont just want loud though, I want quality in sound also. If I have to sacrifice quality for loudness, I'd rather go quality.

Now thats what Im talking about, have you used RE xxx's before? How much are they, and where can I buy them? Brand new, nothing refurbished or used please.

12" XXX Sd: 480cm^2

15" XXX Sd: 810cm^2

480*2= 960cm^2

960-810 = 150cm^2

There's only a difference of 150cm^2 between them. That's less than a 20% difference.

Jl makes 8s 10s, 12s, and 13s on in the w7, not 15s.

Call them for pricing information. You can buy directly from RE if there is no dealer in your area. If there is a dealer in your area, you must purchase from that dealer. For this reason, you need to call RE for pricing information as RE's direct price may not be the same as what your local dealer will charge (if there is one).

This is my setup so far:

Cd head unit- Alpine CDA-9855

2 RE xxx 12’s subs in box (what’s the best type for rap) in trunk

JL ZR650-CSi (Front seat)

JL Audio XR525-CXi (Back seat)

2 Orion 2500D Amps

1 Orion 8004 Amp

Battery- Optimum Red Top

Alternator- ?

Open to suggestions

Well why did you choose the XXX over the W7? The W7 is available now, Will sound just as good if not better, and you have the money. This is why I was asking you if you cared about your money. The XXX has equal performance and was cheaper.

Also two Orion 2500's is not needed. You can run 2 XXX's off of the Orion amp. And the Orion 8004 might be to much power for the JL components. Like I said on the other thread. You don't need that much power, unless you want to blow your equipment.

And chances are your going to need a HO alt. I know it's going to be difficult to find one for the FX...

but the rms for those is 1500 and max 2000. shouldnt I have enough power to power them both? O, and sorry about that, I never heard of those subs and I did some reading after my class. And your telling me there cheaper and perform better? HELL YES I want those, I got money to spend, but if I dont have to spend it I wont, what should I add or change?
