2 Re Se 12" Enclousure Help...

My subs should be in later today and I plan on making a box this weekend looking for some advice maybe a rough draft plan. I want to go ported not sure what to tune my box to... I listen to moslty rap, but also like to listen to some rock...

I have Dimensions of 36"width X 18-20"depth X 18 Height.... Its in a Hatchback that has been covered with Dynamat Extreme

Enclosure - 13.5"h x 36"w x 21.5"d

Port - 12"h x 4"w x 15.75"d

I have my 12" SE in a box 2.0cft@32hz. If I could do it again I wold go with something like 1.8@35hz. It seems to really lack any authority around 63hz and up.

It absolutely murders the lows.

I guess my question is what i should tune my box to because I want the lows but I do like cranking some rock so want some good highs as well... I was thinking like 33-36hz? any suggestions??
