this will be my build log thread which i will begin progress on monday. So before the building starts, i have some questions.

This box is for 2 d4 re se 12's 4.0 cu ft @ 32 hz and im using an 8" pvc as port. i was wondering whats the best way to secure this heavy thing? its going to be mounted right on the bottom panel firing back. is there a way to add flares? heres a sketchup of my box:

it would be cool if i could could get some feedback on how my design looks. it is going in between the two front seats of my 01 silverado extended cab. btw being powered by an american bass vfl 150.1

Also, that Vfl150.1 is gonna be a bit much for the SEs, so make sure you set the gains correctly and leave the bass boost alone, or else your coils will be cooked quickly.

but it wont be elevated its going to rest on the bottom. should i just liquid nails the bottom of the port to the bottom piece of wood

Looks good, I was worried for a second u were gonna use liquid nails on the joints but it looks like u used wood glue, good job!!
