2 RE 8"s in a Mustang with Aeros?!?!?1

i want something small for my mustang. If I went with 2 8" RE's, in about 2 cubes... what would my tuning be with 1 4" Aero? How can I figure that out? Never was good with these things.

we need to know what you want it tuned to...but a 4" aeroport tuned to 35hz in a 3ft^3 should be ~11" long.

ah... I figured on an aero, you couldnt change tuning freq. I think these are uncut aeros...

35hz wouldnt be bad. 3 cubes is a bit much for 2 8's... no?

I'd go with 1.5ft^3 for the pair...and you can cut the aero for whatever length you need. With a 1.5 box the port would need to be 15.5" long for a 35hz tune...of course, you can tune it however you want.

what about a 10'' BL with 4'' aero? 1.25ft^3 after sub and port displacement.

Not at all...I had 4 in 3ft^3 and they sounded great.

I have 2 RE8's in a 1.5 cube box running off a Memphis PRD500.1 and they sound great for what they are. I had them running off a PG Xenon 400.1 some time back, before I fried it...lol, and they hit 135.5dbs...which was plenty loud for me

hmmm.... shit that sounds good to me then. I guess 1.5 will work. Someone mentioned sealed? Ive never heard them sealed... only ported.
