2 Punch or NOT 2 Punch

I currently have an Xtant x604 and an x1001.

I have the opportunity to purchase an old school Rockford Fosgate Punch 1000.

Is the Punch a better amp than the x604 at driving mids and highs or should I stick with the x604? I feel the Punch is old technology and probably susceptible to ground noises, etc...

What do you guys think?

dude! you should put the punch on the subs it is more powerful than the xtant amp. leave the highs alone. i had a punch 1000 once and it beat the sh*t out of whatever it was put on. yes get this amp it is a monster but not for the highs
