2 Powerbass 4000d's??? input on em?

Audiopulse88 is lookin to maybe get 2 of the Powerbass 4000d, and strap them, and run them in his next build..

What do you think about them? I was thinkin of him just to run 2 saz 3000d's....but how reliable are the powerbass's....?

According to PB 2 of those is just right for one voice coil on the 4xl 15's

strapping two of our XA-4000 D Amplifiers together for each 2-ohm voice coil insures maximum voltage which equals maximum output

I would take a Sundown over a Powerbass anyday. I think they do pretty close to rated but I dont think they are as reliable. When 4000 watt amps break it usually isnt a cheap fix either.

other guys say they are great...but the price is right...$1000 for 2

I don't like the 4 gauge inputs...but ehh

othe option would be 2 crossfire vr4000d's and a maxx link to strap em, but 2 will be hard to come by

also I hear the PB are rated at 12v

but anyways more about the PB??????

they are very power hungry so be prepared to give them plenty of juice. i have owned mine for about a week. running a kinteik hc2400, hc600 all 1/0g power and grounds and it is starved for so much more power. i have it hooked up to two 18'' fi bl's running @ about .75 and it works these bl's to death. gain is only about a quarter ways up to

very very nice amp pretty pricey though

hmm, so no warranty. im taking it there not a dealer cus theres no way powerbass would let those go that cheap and be fully warranted

id rather pay retail and get full warranty. ive leanred my lessons on buying from non dealers and not having a warranty on my shit

I do to, My local shop is big on Powerbass, It's nice to walk in and say I busted this and let them handle it.
