2 Position or 4 Position

I'll be installing a RE 12.1 amp and eventually another amp to power my components. I was going to get a 2 position fused distro so I could run 4 gauge to each amp. But then I got to thinking, should I bump it up to a 4 position instead of limiting myself to just two outputs. So my question is, what else could I run through the distro? Does an EQ get run through it? I don't think I'll have any more amps in the future. Thanks in Advance.

Do you plan to setup an external EQ? I ask b/c many HU's nowadays have excellent EQ's built into them. So, I don't see the need. I would go with a 2 position distro.

I didn't plan on it. Is that the only other thing I could hook up to the distro? I have a Pioneer 8600 headunit I have I been told that is an excellent headunit. One more question, my 12.1 amp I have on the way is strappable, if I strapped two together, would I need another power cable running to the second amp?

Cooling fans for amp racks, neon LEDs and neon tubes, a relay to turn all of it on, equalizers, crossovers, other amps (through that relay), a waffle iron and subsequent power inverter...

Yes you would to put a power wire to each amplifier to make each amplifier work when you strap them.

Well does anyone know where I can pick up a 4 position fused distro? I need it to have at least one 1/0 input, and at least three 4 guage outputs... It can have more inputs and more outputs, thats just what it has to have. Also I'd like to pick one up for as cheap as possible. It seems like every place I look they are $30+. Is that possible?

Yeah actually...

I think the cheapest you could go is one four-position distro with all the fuses you'd like for a total of like $43 from Johnecon2001

No he has the one I need for $25, but its on backorder and he doesnt know when he will have them in. I was trying to get everything installed before I left for vacation next weekend.

Actually I just found the distrobution block I was looking for on WoofersETC.com for $22. I guess I'm going to go ahead and pick that up and get the rest of my stuff from Johnecon2001.
