2 polk audio 12" DVC sub custom box build help

I've got a 99 Chevy 1500 silverado truck with a 3rd door. I want to build a box to house my two subs, but the measurements I took don't seem to add up in terms of cubic feet. I'd like to build a ported box, but I'm under the recommended cubic feet for each sub. Any suggestions?
