ok so lets say i got an amp that does 500 x 2 @ 4ohms and 1000 x 1 @ 2ohms, i have stock electrical in my car, my sub is an re se 12 dual 4ohm, would it be better for me to run 500 watts to each coil @ 4ohms or 1000 @ 2ohms to both.......would i see much of a difference as far as voltage drop running 4 ohms or 2ohms, im planning on upgrading my electrical once it gets warm outside, but what would be better for my stock electrical

You're a fucking idiot.

If you run power to both coils you're either going to run it at 2 ohms (getting 1000w) or 8 ohs (if you wire it in series), getting almost no power at all.

250W is almost "no power at all"? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
