2 ohm 4ohm 6ohm?

Just purchased Two JL Audio 10w3's off the internet. Seller wants to know 2,4,or 6 ohm. Whats the difference? I will be using a 600 watt Sony Xplod to push them. Thanks for the help!

Basically Ohms are the measurement of electrical resistance across the speakers voice coil. You can learn more about them here:

For your situation, 2 subwoofers- I would suggest you go with the 4 ohm models, as they will allow flexibility for different wiring options, and are IMO the easiest reference model for someone just learning about ohms.
