yeah your not much louder than my 15 and 2kw, try bass racing push that nga, thats the song i use, but it looks like you picked a good song if ur avg and peak are within 1db

In my Jeep I get alot louder pushing the box forward towards the front of the vehicle.

Your low tune will decrease the peak score a bit too - but it appears to be very flat over a broad range!

it jumped something like .5 just by lowering both back seats.

i might have been able to pull another .2 out of it by moving the seats up/ down just playing around with stuff, but like i said, the cops came and shut us down when werent even really done testing.

im thinknig its gotta be something with the box build. im not sure the stability in electricals gunna help that much either.

i have a honda fit and the sub and port are facing up, score doesnt vary with the seats up or down. whats does ur voltage drop to? hell you might even get louder with a single 18. im gonna be doing 1 18 next month in a similar box. 6cubes at 40hz with 4 4" aeros

thats suprising about the score not changing with seats up or down. i really wish we had some more time to try and change things up a bit in my truck, but the seats down definitely helped me out.

voltage is dropping to about 10v. ive had the amp cut out a few times already with this new HU. it has 4v preouts compared to my old HU which had 2v i believe. im going easy with it though and no smell/ distortion from the subs.

i can keep the voltage up there by raising the RPMs, but i dont like putting that kind of strain on the alternator. i really have to get my hands on a new battery or two.

IF you don't get a battery now, you might not have an amp later! Are you trying to kill that amp? I bet you make a DB or 2 just by having your electrical at 14.4!

Box looks solid and there is enough port area - more testing and some different tones should do it - I got a torrent with every bass mechaniks CD's ever so if you need some tones I can mega upload them over to you.
