2 nightshades in a grand cherokee

all the bracing is good and fit in right now, so no problems there.

i wanted to add a vertical brace, but the cross braces would be in the way of that. maybe ill just put two in and just put them off center a bit, but still in between the two drivers.

theres like exactly 4" between the ends of the ports and the back wall of the box. there 4" diameter ports, does anybody think thats a problem? i wanted to tune it to 32hz, but the ports would have definetly been to long for that, so i settled with 35hz. i was really trying to not go any higher than that.

well just ordered the second nightshade. im hoping it'll be here wednesday.

as for the bracing, i think im gunna pull out the brace that runs from back wall to front wall and move it over a bit to one side. ill just fill up the holes i drilled with some wood glue (its getting carpeted anyway). then ill put in a vertical brace and hopefully the box will be nice and sturdy.

well, a little more progress, but nothing major.

mounted the ports and PVC glued them together. pulled out the one brace and moved it over an inch or two and added a vertical brace. hopefully one is enough. also mounted the first driver and have it wired up. just waiting on the second one and ill be up and running.

i probably could have gone a bit higher, but then it would start to interfere with the back window. now that im thinking about it though, my rear view mirror doesnt stay on anyway, so i could probably go a bit higher.

lmao. i did the door jams and shit before i left back in spetember. completely forgot the rear hatch. theres a lot of junk in there lol.

the rest is just from them salting the roads upstate. i plan on washing it saturday before i go back up. lol.

shes normally cleaned up nicely. my friends always gotta comment on ur tire shine job, but hey, at least you keep it looking clean.

oh, and that HU was just installed today. my old one was skipping like crazy, this ones holding up better. still skips on a few select bass tracksm but nowhere near as bad. got it for free from a friend so i figured why not throw it in and see what it does.

lol, and i just PMed doug (path2spl). might be meeting up with him tomorrow or wednesday so if im lucky ill have some numbers to put up here. i know i still need anotehr battery, but im hoping to put up something decent still.
