get bigger amps with a higher rms, that way you are less likely to have clipped signals is what he is saying

daily the mtx 1501d's dont like 30-40min of full tilt @ 1 ohm, after that they get pretty hot

15-20 min of full tilt @ .5ohm and you have a fried amp. Half ohm burps sure...daily, forget it....

off a 12 volt system youll get a good 1250w rms PER 1501d off a stock 12volt electrical system....you're looking at 2500wrms total if u wanna run them daily @ 2 ohms....

it'll take time but eventually if the day is hot enough and you play it hard enough, those 1501d's will fry @1 ohm....they'll take the abuse leading up to it, ALOT better than most brands....but they'll fry if you play your shit hard

id say go for somethign bigger, and YES, haveing extra headroom is DEFINITLY a good thing. make sur eyou try and find out what RMS power the amp does @ 12volts, without an electrical system overhaul you're probly gonan be in the 12v range, most are rated at 13.8v or even 14.4v
