that stain looks like ***. what did you apply it with? did you wipe off the excess?

does not look like it to me. looks heavy in some areas and light in others

just a foam stain brush, i agree its to heavy in some areas i trying to spread it out more evenly.. I rocked the bare birch for a few months and was happy with it... wanted to try something new...
