2 L7 15" vs. 2 SX 15'"

Where are you getting this comparison from, who are these 'people'? Have you owned Kicker, RE, and Alpine subs to compare wich is the 'better DD'?

I'm not being biased i just said i've heard L7's and SX's and said what i though would sound better. Have you been in a galant with a 15" SX in the trunk with my "crap" 1605? So don't be biased and judge how it sounds. That is "basically the most stupidest thing I've ever heard just to let you know ;)"
please do a search ie (spkrman, typerbass, hotcarl) and it will show you in numerous cases how they've mad type-r's crap on other subs ie.kicker,re. And for the second statement you tottaly misunderstood my post well except for the crappy amp part I meant that wearing a sub in your freinds car and a different sub in your car and trying to make a statement about how they differ is not good becuase different vechiles make subs different.

crap. alright, the response about the 2500d killing my stock electrical system kinda bursted my bubble. i dont really want to put the 550 dollars into a HO alternator just yet, although i am looking to get a yellowtop this week, along with big 3.
would 2 15" type r's do well with 750 rms to each? that's there recomended RMS rating.

thatnks for all the responses
I feel you and yes they will do fine with there rated rms.

CVX 15"....
also a very appealing choice that if I had the money I would try but with all that space I would rather go with a sub that can use that space to it's fullest advantage becuase I would rather have them in small sealed box. And he also wants to stay around 400 total and 2 of those would run him close to 600dollars on ebay maybe 550.

Nice shameless plug polecat, nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif j/k
I've been hearing some pretty good things about the potential of those drivers...

With 750 per sub - which for the record I think is more than enough power for a daily driver - you can look at the kickers, the alpines will purr nicely with that much, or well, many other options. You could look at the SE's, or the arsenals (probably what I would try), or so many other choices.
agreed except I wouldn't want se's in a ported box and 750rms to them either over kill for those subs. I would have to say if can cough up allitlle more money 30dollars I would get up on the arsenals

you mean you want to use a larger box? the CVX will play louder in a sealed box...

i will try them soon, i just dont have the cheese for them right now, im gonna wait a little till the price comes down.

the CVX's are amazing, and if they fit the bill on what you need, might as well speak it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
