Sorry, but I have a question on how to mount these things.

Going through the manual, there's some kind of bracket that has to go inside the enclosure? Do you guys have to use that thing or is there a way around that?

its eaasy yea the bracket is there,there is even bolts for an enclosure that's thicker than 3/4"

Yes I understand that, but with the way my box is, a round cutout is only ~1/4-1/2 away from the side walls.

The cutout on a solo x 10" is 9.75", which is wider than my circle cutout.

The way my box is right now, some of the sub mounting screws actually screw into the sidewalls of the enclosure.

actually you need something like a carrige bolt called a hanger screw
