I just got a 99 durango and was planning a system. so what is going to be louder and hit harder. 3 12w3's or 2 15w3's .... i have a kicker 800.2 amp now but i can get a bigger one.... i got lots of room so i want a ported box..... alos what should size should it be and tuned to for best perfomance .... thank guyz

3 12W3'S..and u will still under power it...they like 500-600watts

if u only have 800 watts u can put that to 1 15w3 not 2

i vote for the 12's , JL's site should tell you about box and port size. Prolly going to have to say goodbye to the cargo area at this point though.

Go for 2 15w3's. I had a pair running from a 81000D amp and with a good high wattage amp, you can get pretty dam loud.

I got two 12's not too impressed with them, but they are sealed.

I would say go for the 15s.
