I'm getting tired of my sub setup (1-12" eclipse 88120DVC @2.0cuf-28Hz).

I'm looking to go back to JL subs and a sealed setup. I used to have 2 10w3's and thought that they were decent.

There are some used ones for sale in my area.

First pair is 2 15w3s in a sealed box.

Second pair are 2 12w6s in a sealed box.

I'm leaning toward the w6s but i've never run 15s before so am curious about those too..

I would be pushing them on the mono sub channel of a Memphis ST1300D

(600W@2Ohms,1100W@1Ohm and approx 850W@1.5Ohm)

I would like to hear from people who have used the 15w3s or the 12w6s.

How do they sound SQ-wise. How is their bass response?

Any info from those with experience using these subs would be helpful..

Thanks.

if you are looking for good quality sound then you would want the w6's. the w3 15"in. is more of a spl woofer. it has a large xmax and can take a large amount of power. it really just depends on what you are looking for.
