I owned both of those woofers and I much preferred the sound of the O's.\

However i have differing views to others in that i preferred the sound of my w6v1. to my w6v2. Although i would place the e12o above both in my mind.

oh and if it matters.

equipment used:

elemental designs e12o on planet audio p1250d receiving 800watts@2ohm (wanged wanged wanged) I believe box was 1.5 or 1.2 before woofer displacement i forgot it was years ago but this set

JL 12w6 original with JBL 600.1 (450watts @3ohm)

JL 12w6v2 on RF power 500bd (503watts@2ohm)

And on another note if you want to 'upgrade' your e12o's i would suggest getting these Image Dynamics overstock woofers. They are almost exactly if not exactly the same thing as the eD 13o version 2 woofers check it out and you can get 2 for 200 shipped !!

yea, and im sur ethey got paid for sayin that,lol. go to a shop and give em a list or see if 1 of the workers at the shop has some in there car and give em a listen and go from there. my buddy has 2 12 w6v2 and they arent bad. nice and tight soundin. but for the money, not sumthin i'd get.

As much as I dislike eD, the flatcone O's are pretty nice.

too bad they don't make them any more. all they make are the K's and the O's both new versions have a conventional cone and from what i hear they sound awesome.

2 12w6v2's with 500wrms each.... u will not be dissapointed with SQ and will be very suprised with SPL

not sure what the guy above was saying, but the w6's and the w6v2's are completely different subs
