2 JBL P1224 Ported or Sealed?

I've got 2 JBL P1224, I plugged them into Bass Box Pro, it says they are going to be best sealed. If I go Ported, it says to build the box tuned for 22.89hz. The Sealed is tuned for 41.36 hz empty, and 45.42hz stuffed. I listen to a mix of rock and rap. I am also aiming for SQ.

That all being said, Ported, or Sealed?

I'd say sealed for SQ,especially for rock

rock plays fine with any sub setup, sealed or ported, assuming it's designed correctly. there is no magic box for rock music. that being said, that sub will probably perform better sealed, but they aren't too bad ported. tuning to 23hz is a little low for car audio. if you port them, i'd do 1.75 per sub, tuned to 30-32hz.

Thanks guys. I figured out how to work this program more, and the graphs make sealed the obvious choice.
