2 Infinity 120.9w's need amp?

I am pretty set on buying 2 Infinity 120.9w's to put in my 1993 chevy caprice. I would really appreciate some help choosing a good amp that will get the most out of these subs and not overheat.

I already have 4 gauge wiring in my car and a Kenwood KAC-9105D 1800 watt amp. I am probably going to sell this amp and get one that's a better fit for the new Infinity subs though. I have a Alpine CDE-105 head unit as well.

If anyone can give me some good advice on an amp, capacitor, or box for these subs please let me know. Thanks.

definetly change the amp and dont buy a capacitor just do the big 3 thats the way to go and amp you should get you like around a good 1000rms. whats ur budget

Plan on running them a 2 ohms each, so a 1 ohm stable monk block is what you want. 350W RMS rated each. After voltage drop, a 1000Wx1 @1 ohm amp should do well.

Which one to get depends on your budget. $300 minimum.

Enclosure: refer to the owners manual and build per mfr specs.

No capacitor.

Thanks for the replies guys. I would like to spend no more than $300 on the amp. Most I can go is $350 really. Can someone recommend some good ones? Overheating will be an issue since I live in Texas (112 degree days).

That amp does look nice. I may just grab that unless anyone has a better idea.

The sub's are recommended to be in a 1.0 cu ft box when it's a sealed box. I'm probably just gonna buy a box, I really don't feel like building one. Where can I get a nice quality box for the Sub's?

if you are gonna buy one call q logic they are in stillwater ok and get ported not sealed ,you'll get more out of your woofers that way ,but if you are not gonna build a box then you might wanna stay closer to rated power.i have a amp if interested .just pm me
