I have two BNIB RE SE 15s D4 for $325/shipped if you can talk him into a better sub. They perform very well in 2.5/sealed. Would also give a good sound.
Good to see that you had both, looking at the specs it seemed the audiopipes are much better subs than anything else i looked at in a similar price range, with the sensitivity, response, etc.actually the ap's are louder than the re se's how i know i sell both. the ap's will handle 1500rms each all day. sounds like a good set up that he can upgrade to another 15001 and strap down the road...

I think it's too late, sounds like he got the 2 AP 15s, even 3.5ft3 sealed sounds small for 2 15s. Idk why the hell he didn't just get a single 15 and port it. Will be much louder than those 2 AP 15s in a sealed box that they can barely fit it to begin with.He doesnt mean 3.5 EACH, he means 3.5 total.
