2 different wattage subs? DVC 4 ohm

I have an Alpine Type R 500 rms 12 inch sub and an 8 inch Sundown Audio dvc 4 ohm. Both subs are dvc 4 ohm so I'm wondering how these would run on an Alpine MRP-M500. Amp is rated at 500 rms

No cause not only are they different subs there different sizes .. Really ?

And even if u wanted to that amp doesn't pull 1 ohm so u couldn't get good power to the ghetto mix match pair regardless ..you'd be at like 150 watts at 4 ohms to a pair of different size subs run one in the proper box at 2 ohms and you'll be happy .. Sell both and buy a Sa 12" just a suggestion or hit up mylows for a xfl .. And star mountain has the best/cheapest boxes around in my opinion

Never a good idea. No benefit in sound whatsoever. Whoever is doing that should not be who you learn about car audio from.
