2 Different 15" Subs

1) 15" SQ oriented sub

VC config: D2, D8, S4

Power: 500 watts

Box: Max volume = 2.5 ft^3 sealed

Looking for a sub that will have decent output but will sound great in a smallish sealed box.

2) 15" sub

VC config: D2

Power: 500 watts

Box: Max volume after displacements = 3.5 ft^3 ported, tuned low

Looking for a sub that will have the highest output possible given the 500 watts of power.

yes i have ran one personally and they sound amazing, not the loudest 15 but def sounds amazing and clean

For the SQ sub the ARC series 15" are amazing and for the 15" in the ported box I would recommend the DD 1500 series 15. I have done many installs at my shop using both subs and you would not be dissappointed

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. For the ported setup I ended up getting a Treo SSi. Upon further review of the sealed setup I think I am going to need to go with a couple 10's instead of a 15 for space reasons. I am thinking about a couple Dayton HO's right now. Any other suggestions for 10's in an sq setup?
