The DD motor is slightly bigger than the AQ by like 40oz. or so. Pound for pound you could do more with the 12's and bigger port area than the 15's if remaining in the trunk.

Why would I want softer spiders? Makes no sense dd is some of the highest quality woofers on the market and their spiders are really stiff.

huh? softer spiders will make the woofer peakier.. you can do 2 12s but it will only give slightlt boosted output around tuning..

i mentioned the softer spiders because that box is about 2.5 cubes too small.. you don't want stiff spiders with tiny boxes.. dual progressive poly cotton spiders should do the trick...

Gross i believe, and yeah the AQ's like every month is getting old, **** the day i have to inhale ca clue having to do a recone!! But i would hope it would be louder too. . .
