2 DD 1008a vs. 2 Soundsplinter rl-i8

looking for two 8's to run off my kaption hc250.2, which of these pairs will take 1000rms daily better. Which one will have better sq and which one overall is better.

I wouldnt put 500W on a RL-i8, to risky and they dont need that much.

Id say the Rl-i's take the cake for SQ and the DD'S for SPL

the rl-i 8's will take 500wrms easily. they might not need that much, but they will indeed handle it. i've given mine as much as 1200, no problems. 1200 is too much for one though..lol...

i've never heard the dd 8's, didn't know dd made an 8....but the bigger brethen of the 8's are indeed very capable subs.

i think the rl-i would be the better sql driver. offering teh best of both worlds...while i would think the dd more then capable of getting loud.

rl-i8 can 500 easy

hell u can slap 600 on it

just make sure its clean power and you will b fine

dd and audioque are basiclly the same subwoofer. maybe some minor internal dofferences, but all in all, same sub.

personally, i think the rl-i will be hard to beat in this group of subs. it's just an awesome little monster!

Shure it can take 500W, i never said it couldnt.

I just personally wouldnt send it that much. It doesnt need that much either
