Just got 2 12' D9s

I just got 2 12' Diamond D9s, and they will each be going on a D61000. I want to know how should I build the box, tuning n all. It will be going into a Honda Civic Hatchback so space is limited. It is 29 wide 28 long and 15 high. Any input will be apreciated.

great sub,great amp

but.....that amp is very small for those 2 subs

If you want to try this enclosure,I reccomend it to be the best for that sub

it's prolly too wide though for your car...Which means u need a dual sealed

and u definatly will be underpowering those D9s

Thanks but that enclosure is to big... this is the problem I have been running into lately. And the amp should be fine b.c they are rated for 800w a piece and they should be getting at least 1000w, but I might upgrade later

yea get some more power.....just make sure the enclosure is big and port it to nothing more then 35 hz

Dude they are goin in a hatchback for now untill I get a new car in like a month so im just looking for a cheap prefab so i dont have to run them free-air lol. Once I get my grand cherokee then I can go big.

You're looking at about 5.7 feet before displacement, 2.847 feet per sub. That should be pretty sufficient for your needs. I would definetley not go with a prefab, build your own box.
