2 cvr 12 ported

built a box for 2 cvr 12s. dual 4 ohm. about 1.5 ft air each, and tuned around 40.

i know its a lil high. but thats not the problem. i have them pluged into the amp. and when musics playing they arent really fleving to the beat. theyre more of..... vibrating...? really fast.

and then i turned the truck off. turned it back on with volume all the way down. and sequentially they were bumping left to right. it sounded as if they were going with the cylinders of the engine.?

and theyre on a q power 1800.

please help. its really bothering me

Out of phase. You need to rewire the subs. Does your amp do 1 ohm stable? Use this wiring diagram. What it shows is wiring up 2 DVC 4 ohm subs to a 1 ohm load. Exactly what you need assuming your amp is a monoblock.

Make sure your RCA's in the back of the deck are wired correctly and are not touching metal to metal to anything.

you have a noise/grounding issue..

make sure you have a good ground to your amp..

and yea you might have the rcas grounded, like said above check make sure that they aren't grounded..

also FYI the wire inbetween the rcas isn't a ground it's a drain, only use it if you have notice like alt whine etc.. also you only ground one side..
