2-Channel amp bridged into 4 ohm dvc sub running parallel?

Can I use my Fosgate Punch 360.2 to power my 4 ohm sub in a parallel wiring scheme? I want to know if this amp would be stable running a bridged 2 ohm load. Also if running a parallel setup is even safe in this situation.

Sub: Phoenix Gold RSDC 12"

Amp: Fosgate Punch 360.2 (2001)

Thanks

no you should have a dual 2 ohm sub wired in series to use the power correctly from that amp, I don't think it will run a bridged 2ohm load.

Those are stout amps. It will probably RUN at 2 bridged, but it will get HOT if you run it very hard.

It's not a good idea IMO.

Much better idea to wire them in series.

That amp's still worth some money. You ought to be able to sell it for close to the price of a 400-500w 2 ohm mono.
