In a real world setup, how will these matchup against each other

massive audio p3000.1 ------------ vs-------------------Earthquake Ph5000d

speaking in terms of actual output, cleaner signal, amp draw, reliability and qaulity for running 4 12's in a multi sub configuration...... need to know asap...

welll the qauke is 3000 rms.... if you look at the specs..

Earthquake amps are good? i thought they would **** since they were in the same price range as legacy and other cheap brands on ebay.

i have the earthauqake phd 10000 which is the same just you can strap it. it puts out good power while not pulling alot of amps. Make sure you have a decent charging system though because if you dont the amp will clip like crazy and kill your subs. It did it to my DD.

I have the Massive and couldn't be any happier. I hear EQ is also lacking on thier build quality, not what they used to be, but who is anymore? My p3000.1 has never overheated on me but it does get hot, and that's after VERY long hours with the music just cranked up. I do have two yellow tops feeding it though. I'm sure whichever one you go with, you will be happy. At this point, it comes down to size and looks. If available space is an issue, get the EQ, since the Massive is 34 inches long, IIRC. If you are more interested in the looks, get the Massive because I think it looks sexier than the EQ.

the birthsheet really should not be an issue when buying. real world actual power is

determined by voltage, rise etc.........i may be biased but why not a kicker 2500, i

think they can be had for around the same price and we all know that is a proven

well built amp.

the qauke amp can be had for 400 with warrenty
