My p3000.1 has never overheated on me but it does get hot, and that's after VERY long hours with the music just cranked up. I do have two yellow tops feeding it though. I'm sure whichever one you go with, you will be happy. At this point, it comes down to size and looks. If available space is an issue, get the EQ, since the Massive is 34 inches long, IIRC. If you are more interested in the looks, get the Massive because I think it looks sexier than the EQ.</p></blockquote><p></p>
